Ischus Limited was founded in 2003.
We are software engineers with expertise covering a broad engineering and technological spectrum - from aviation and marine industries to manufacturing, steel and electronics production. We are Chartered Physicists , Members of the Institute of Physics (IOP) and Members of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).
Our computing expertise spans several decades so that we have knowledge of systems from the 1970s onwards. This means that we can find solutions to problems that you may have due to the age of your equipment or software.
We feel that our scientific and technical background sets us apart from most software houses and enables us to better understand the issues and requirements of engineering and science based companies.
Since 2003 we have produced various software packages and given programming and IT assistance to a wide range of companies, of various sizes and locations.
The software we have delivered has run successfully throughout that time, for example one of them running on each separate ship in a fleet carrying out oil exploration in different parts of the world.
We believe in giving our clients freedom and do not attempt to lock them to using our services ad infinitum into the future.
We do this by giving our clients the source code to any programs we produce for them, leaving them free, if they wish, to move to another supplier for further development. However, we find that clients find us competitive and so they keep coming back.
We believe in partnership working which is why we’ve developed a customized project management tool. It gives our clients secure and exclusive access to their project via our server. They can see what’s happening day-to-day, log tasks, ask questions and pretty much talk to us anytime, from anywhere in the world.
